**THE ORCHARD GETAWAY IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED**

Why not give our friends at plumtreeglamping.co.uk a call as they would love to welcome you to their site which is only a few miles away.

Welcome to the Orchard Getaway, an award winning luxury campsite set amongst plum trees in the beautiful Vale of Evesham in Worcestershire.

The market town of Evesham is three miles away, and you can reach the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a 10-minute drive.

At the top of the orchard sits a seven metre Mongolian yurt which sleeps four in one double and two single beds. The yurt has its own shower, composting toilet, outside kitchen and seating area.

Occupying an area further down the orchard are Avalon Carriage, a converted 1930s railway wagon and Greengage Yurt a 5 metre Kyrgyz yurt. Each unit has its own picnic table for alfresco dining with a seperate, covered kitchen area. There are also individual, allocated showers and compost toilets for each unit so there are no shared facilities.

There are several walking and cycle routes nearby for all abilities and fitness levels, including some long-distance paths such as the Cotswold Way and Wychavon Way. We are happy to provide advice on routes, or support if you’d like transport to or from particular sections of these paths. On site bike hire is also available with bikes provided by Evesham Adventure Playground

The site is totally off grid so there is no electricity, but you’ll be provided with candles and battery- or solar-powered lights, and there are books and games to borrow to keep you entertained. Campfires are permitted on site so gather round the crackling logs and admire the starry sky away from modern gadgetry.

We are really pleased to have been awarded a Highly Commended Award in the Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence 2019.

We are really proud to have been awarded the Wychavon Intelligently Green award in recognition of our efforts to make sure our site has as low an impact on the environment as possible while benefiting our guests and the surrounding communities.

Here are some of the judges’ comments :

“Attractive accommodation – great for tourism.”

“Visitors see environmental practices in action and may take them away and change their behaviours at home.”

“Very strong business concept that demonstrates that you can a run a successful business along intelligently green lines.”

You can watch a short video about how we are Intelligently Green here.

review rating 5  An amazing weekend away with our two children (age 3 & 6), brilliant facilities -even including camping chairs! Kids loved exploring the campsite, swinging in the hammocks and picking plums. We all loved it so much and will definitely return next year!

  • review rating 5  Great time staying at the Burbank Yurt, it's huge and really comfortable. The site is laid out so you have privacy from other guests and we had a really peaceful stay, mainly spent around the fire pit! Marcus and Kirsty were very welcoming and the whole ethos of the site is great. Highly recommended!

review rating 5  We had a great time for my Dad's 70th birthday. We hired all three bell tents so had exclusive use of the mess tent, showers + loos. Lovely site - clean and well thought out. Saturday afternoon was spent SUP boarding at Bonkers Activity Centre in Pershore where all of us, from age 6 to 70, stood up on the boards. Kristy made us a fab cake which, along with the hammocks and the open fire, added to the fun! Definitely recommend.

  • review rating 5  We came here as a big group on a hen party. The location is stunning! Marcus and Kirsty were so friendly, flexible and helpful! A lot of the girls weren't "campers" but we were all more than happy with the facilities....especially the hot open air shower!
